Your study data
Free web tools store your selected state, quiz progress, answers, history, skill logs and training logs in this browser’s local storage. An Apple or Google sign-in is required to use web study tools. Older guest records remain separate; they are not automatically imported into your account. Training hours, skill-practice logs, completed quiz results, required school-hour goals, CEU course records, certification-period dates, and study-note titles, text, and optional note categories automatically upload to Google Firebase and sync with supported versions of the iPhone app using the same account. Work shifts and unfinished quizzes remain in the browser where they were created. Rehearsal checkmarks are temporary and do not save a training record. Offline changes to supported records are queued until the connection returns. Google Analytics is on by default unless you previously turned it off or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. We do not include advertising scripts.
Anyone using the same browser profile may see your saved records. Use a personal device, export important records, and delete web study data before sharing a device. Private browsing, browser cleanup, or changing devices can remove your records. Browser-only records cannot be recovered by us.
Accounts and optional membership
Firebase Authentication processes your account identifier, sign-in provider and the name or email supplied by that provider. Apple may provide a private relay email. We store subscription identifiers, status and expiration information to verify paid access across platforms. Stripe hosts website checkout and billing management; card details are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored in MyCNAPal study records. Stripe and Apple retain payment records under their own policies.
Study notes
The updated app and website share one study-note log for the same signed-in account. Note titles and text are stored locally and sync to account-separated Firebase records in the United States. Older versions may not display notes. Use fictional examples; never enter patient or identifying information. Notes are not sent to usage analytics. Conflicting edits can be kept as separate notes rather than overwritten.
Cloud records and deletion
Synced study records are stored in Firebase in the United States, separated by account. Signing out stops this browser from syncing; it does not delete existing cloud records. Deleting a synced entry sends a deletion marker to other connected devices. Account deletion removes cloud study records and stops website subscription billing. Apple subscriptions must be canceled with Apple. Limited account-deletion and purchase-ownership markers are retained to prevent deleted records from returning and purchases from being claimed by another account. Records in offline devices or exported files may remain until you delete them there. Guest records are never automatically imported into a signed-in account.
Hosting and external links
Firebase Cloud Storage delivers paid audio lessons after membership verification using temporary playback links. The current website streams audio instead of saving lessons for offline use; listeners can download lesson transcripts. We do not save an account-linked listening history; optional analytics can include fixed lesson identifiers. Firebase Hosting delivers this website and may process technical connection information, including IP addresses and request information, to deliver and secure the service. Optional usage analytics
When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics receives page categories, feature usage, quiz starts/completions, fixed audio lesson identifiers, sign-in method and checkout-start events, plus technical information such as browser, device and approximate region. Analytics cookies identify this browser; we do not set an account user ID or send your name, email, study records, answers, clinical values or free-text entries. Query strings and record identifiers are excluded from page data. Advertising storage, Google signals and ad personalization are disabled. We use reports to improve MyCNAPal. Sandbox activity is marked as development traffic. Analytics cookies last up to 90 days. Google processes analytics under its privacy policy.
Use More → Settings → Preferences → Help Improve MyCNAPal to turn collection on or off. Turning it off stops collection and removes this site’s analytics cookies; it does not delete events already processed. Clearing browser storage resets your choice to the default of on. Global Privacy Control keeps analytics off.
Your choices
Sign in, then open More → Settings → Your Records to export a JSON copy of study data or training logs as CSV. More → Settings → Delete My Data removes local web study data; it does not erase cloud records. Individual training entries can also be deleted. Exports are saved to the location you choose and are outside this website’s control.
Support and appropriate use
If you email support, your email provider and our support mailbox process your message and email address. We use your message to respond and provide support; email us to request deletion. Do not enter or send patient names, identifying information, or sensitive medical information. These tools are for education and personal study records, not patient care.
iPhone app
The iPhone app has separate account and purchase features. Read its privacy policy. Deleting local browser data does not cancel a subscription or erase cloud or iPhone records. Use Account → Delete account for cloud deletion.

This site is intended for CNA students and is not directed to children under 13. This page will be updated when the website’s information handling changes.
Free YouTube skill videos
Study includes free nursing-assistant demonstration videos from WisTech Open / Open RN through YouTube’s embedded player. No subscription is required. The player connects to Google/YouTube and may process device, connection and playback information, use cookies or similar storage, and display YouTube-served ads. MyCNAPal does not send your study records to the player. Internet access is required and videos may become unavailable. By using the player, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; see the Google Privacy Policy. MyCNAPal is independent of WisTech Open / Open RN.
